Intel Malaysia announces PC Refresh campaign along with partners

Are you still using an old laptop or PC that is already squeaking, heating up or slowing down your productivity? If the answer is yes it’s probably time for you to look forward to Intel Malaysia’s PC Refresh campaign. The company today has announced this campaign to allow consumers to switch to newer and powerful devices by being able to trade in their old devices for a new machine.

Intel Malaysia country manager Prakash Mallya says that the latest Intel processors are very much powerful and efficient, which enables their partners to produce computing devices with a light and thin form factor without compromising on performance, many consumers today do not want to switch their devices because the process of transitioning their data to new devices is a hassle, Intel’s PC Refresh campaign will attempt to solve this issue.

Along with its partners, Intel intends to reach 1 million audience in Malaysia with a retail span of 640 retail stores.

The company has also intended to perform a mobile cruiser activation roadshow in shopping malls and universities as you can see in the slides, there will be a total of 24 roadshow venues for the rest of the year.

Customers who participate in the campaign will also stand a chance to win a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, the number of entries aren’t mentioned though.

There will also be a fire sales activation scheduled next month at Low Yat Plaza, which you’ll be able to get some great deals on buying your new computing device.

If you happen to worry on data transition to your new computing devices, consultants from SNS Network Sdn Bhd will be available at select retail locations to provide data backup services to ensure a seamless move to your brand new device.
