On Thursday, Microsoft will be revealing a bunch of new devices that is rumoured to be under the Surface brand. Today, leaks have sprung up over these devices, and it confirms that the rumoured Surface All-in-One will indeed be a real thing.
Let’s begin with the All-in-One. Known internally as Cardinal, the Surface All-in-One has been confirmed to be called Studio. While the specifics are still vague, a patent image was found for the Surface Studio, hinting at what the device will be look like when it is finally announced.
While the Surface Studio is a device that we know is coming, there are other devices that remain mysterious thus far. The Trademark Ninja has discovered that a Microsoft shell company in Slovenia has recently trademarked Surface Laptop, Paint 3D, Surface Dial, and Dial. Surface Laptop and Paint 3D is pretty self-explanatory, but the interesting one part has to do with the Surface Dial. Many are speculating that the Surface Dial could be the Surface Phone, while others believe that it may be a software interface that would work with other Windows apps. There are also some that guess that the Surface Dial may be an upcoming smartwatch.
Microsoft’s event is scheduled to be held on Thursday morning local time, so we won’t need to wait for too long to find out what Microsoft has in its pockets.
