Infinix set to introduce its most expensive smartphone next week

After being quiet a little while, Infinix is set to launch the Zero 40 smartphone next week, and if you think it is going to be another sub RM1500 smartphone with value for money specs, you are wrong as this could very well be Infinix’s most expensive smartphone to date at RM1,699, as spotted by our friends at Lowyat.NET.

Of course, the price is still relatively affordable for what it offers on the table, the phone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor paired with 12GB RAM and probably up to 512GB of storage, it also sports a premium design with a curved edge 6.78-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 144Hz, while it has a decent triple camera setup that sports a 108MP main camera with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera, the front is expected to take decent selfies as well with a 50MP camera that supports Autofocus.

Juicing up the phone is a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging, which isn’t the fastest within the segment and could disappoint some.

Finally, we can expect the company to launch the phone at an event that’s happening next week, while the company’s first tablet is also expected to make appearance as well, it is going to be another exciting moment for the upcoming smartphone brand.
