For the first time ever, Infinix is set to do a global smartphone launch in Malaysia with the Note 40 series, the series have been teased to have ‘all-round fast charging’, which is pretty exciting as the current Infinix Note 30 Pro is the only phone within the segment to feature fast wired and wireless charging.
While details of the phones are extremely scarce unlike the usual phone leaks you see, our friends at Lowyat.NET has spotted two models being registered in the SIRIM type approval database, including the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro 5G, whereas GSMArena reports that the series will comprise of three models including the former two models.
The Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G is expected to come with 100W wired fast charging and probably the same wireless charging speed as before, while the higher end Note 40 Pro+ might feature a crazy fast 110W magnetic wireless charging.
Infinix has been making big waves in the Malaysian market with their value-for-money smartphones recently, and with the global launch set in Malaysia, we won’t be surprised if the phones can be purchased the following week after the launch, given that it has been granted its type approval.
