After releasing several attractive smartphones, Infinix is set to introduce its first tablet to the masses, but don’t expect it to be as flashy as its recent phones, as it is just a regular 11-inch tablet with a standard aluminum unibody design that’s commonly seen on other tablets, but at least it does feel premium with its ASUS Zenbook-like spin texture on the back.
Powered by the long-lived Mediatek Helio G99 chipset, this 11-inch slate should do most games just fine if you don’t push the graphics quality, it uses a 90Hz LCD panel with a 1920×1200 resolution, there’s 8GB RAM and 256GB of expandable storage that will do fine for everyday tasks, while the tablet ships with the company’s XOS 14 skin on top of Android 14.
The XPAD has an 8MP camera on the front and back, which is basic for productivity tasks, while it should offer days of battery life with a 7000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging, and interestingly, Infinix says you should be able to charge the tablet up to 50% in 40 minutes, which is pretty impressive for a 18W charging wattage.
Infinix should be launching the XPAD tablet soon as it has been spotted in the SIRIM database by our fellow friends at Lowyat.NET, and knowing Infinix, we can expect this tablet to be priced under RM1000.
