Images of HTC Desire 830 spilled, no fingerprint sensor

With all eyes on the recently launched HTC 10, most people have probably left the HTC Desire 825 behind. The handset was announced at MWC in February this year. New images have emerged with the possibility of HTC adding another member to its Desire family some time later this year. Nowhereelse.fr has leaked out a couple of pictures of an alleged HTC Desire 830, which looks like it sports a plastic build.

An image with CPU-Z results is also shown, which tells us that the Desire 830 features a 5.5-inch 1080 Full HD display. The processor powering the handset happens to be a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Details on the camera optics of the Desire 830 has yet to be revealed, but we’re guessing that it will be packing a standard 13MP/5MP pair of shooters, since it’s a mid-range device.

Based on the images, the HTC Desire 830 seems to be lacking a fingerprint sensor, which is odd for a 2016 device. Also, the handset seems to equip what looks like a USB Type-C port, but we can’t be entirely sure. What do you think of the Desire 830’s specs so far?
