During Huawei’s conference in Paris yesterday, a host of products were introduced including the P30 flagship phones and the Freelace wireless headphones.
Along side these items introduced was also the Huawei Watch GT – the original Classic Edition and Sport Editions were released last October, and this time around Huawei have announced two new variants to the smartwatch.
The first of the two new additions is the Active Edition which sports a similar 46mm face and is fitted with a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD touchscreen display that puts out a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels.
Huawei had also introduced a smaller Elegant Edition that’s geared towards female wearers. It comes with a 42mm ceramic bezel face and a 1.2-inch AMOLED HD touchscreen display.
Like the previous Huawei Watch models, both the new additions will also boast two weeks of battery life. and will include feature all the smartwatch goodies such as heart rate monitor, scientific sleeping, distance tracking capabilities and more.
Both the watches are fitted with fluoroelastomer straps which, according to Huawei, improves on overall texture and durability as well as comfort. The Active Edition is priced at €249 and will be available in orange and dark green; while the Elegant Edition will set you back €299 and is available in white and black.
No word on when the watches will be available in Malaysia but we suspect it will arrive soon after the Malaysian release of the P30 series, which is touted to be next week.
