Huawei's P10-line of smartphone arrives in Malaysia on the 31st of March

Two weeks after making its debut at MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Huawei’s latest flagship smartphone, the P10, will be making its way to Malaysia by the end of the month.

For the local market, Huawei has opt to launch three variants of the P10: the P10 Lite, the P10, and the P10 Plus. The P10 Lite will be the affordable version of the lineup as it sports a Kirin 655 Octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 5.2″ Full HD screen, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the regular P10 will come with a Kirin 960 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 5.1″ Full HD screen, and a 3,200mAh battery. Finally, we have the P10 Plus, the flagship of the lineup. This particular model comes with the Kirin 960 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 5.5 1440p screen, and a 3,750mAh battery. All three models of the P10 will run on Android Nougat with Huawei’s own EMUI 5.1 screen.

For the camera, the P10 will sport the “Leica Dual-Camera Pro Edition”. This setup gives the P10 a F1.9 SUMMILUX-H f/2.2 lens which is accompanied by a 20MP monochrome sensor and a 12MP regular sensor. Accompanying the camera setup is the four-in-one hybrid autofocus system and Optical Image Stabilization technology. The camera on the P10 Plus is largely the same, although that particular phone will have a f/1.8 aperture instead. Both the P10 and P10 Plus sports the same 8MP f/1.9 front-facing camera. As for the P10 Lite, Huawei has outfitted the smartphon ewith a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

All three smartphones mentioned above will be available in either Prestige Gold or Graphite Black colours. The P10 Lite will retail for RM1,299, the P10 will retail for RM2,499, while the P10 Plus will go for RM3,099. Pre-orders for the P10-lineup will begin on the 23rd of March on the Huawei Experience Store, Lazada and Vmall. General availability of the smartphones will be available on the 31st of March
