Huawei Watch 3 might come with built-in wireless earbuds

It’s about time for Huawei to release a new smartwatch and it looks like there is a good reason for their delay. Based on a patent uncovered bt LetsGoDigital, it looks like the company’s new smartwatch might come with a built-in earbud.

The images from the patent show that the earphones are fitted at the sides of the watch bezel, using a spring lock to keep them in place. To release them, simply click the earbuds and the cap can be removed an assembled by the user. There is also a second image that shows the earbuds being stored in the watchstrap, where the bottom part of the strap will hold the earbuds and allow users to simply remove them by unlatching them from the strap. At the end of the day, these are still concepts and we are not sure if this will be the final product of the Huawei Watch 3. The idea, however, is very intriguing as we won’t have to worry about carrying an extra case for wireless earbuds. One issue that the company might face is, will the watch be too big with built-in earbuds.
