Huawei has launched the new nova 3 and nova 3i, the third phone in the nova series that is targeted at the youth. Equipped with 24MP cameras and using the power of AI to bring performance and features that match its design.
The Huawei Nova 3 and 3i features curved 3D glass on the front and back of the phone with a 6.3-inch FHD+ FullView Display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Both the phones also come with 24MP f/2.0 sensor and 2MP front camera setup, with the 2MP capturing depth thanks to its depth detection data. With both the cameras working together to produce the authentic bokeh shots. Again, thanks to AI, it allows the phone to recognize the different scenes when taking a photo, to adjust the image while beautifying the subjects.
The camera software also allows users to adjust the lighting of your selfies with the support of five studio-quality lighting which can accurately map the facial features of the user and identify areas where it requires additional lighting. As for the rear-cameras, the nova 3 comes with a 24MP monochrome sensor and 16MP RGB sensor with dual f/1.8 aperture and the nova 3i comes with a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. These sensors can also recognize 500 scenes, categorize it into 22 types and optimize the image for each of the scenes and it also supports 480fps slow-motion video recording.
Specs wise the nova 3 comes with the Kirin 970 with 6GB of RAM, while the nova 3i comes with the Kirin 710 alongside 4GB of RAM. Both devices come with 128GB of storage and these phones will Huawei’s proprietary GPU Turbo.
The Huawei nova 3 and 3i will be available for purchase on 28 July 2018 with a retail price of RM1,899 and RM1,249 respectively.
