Huawei to unveil smartphone lineup for ladies at IFA 2016

As we close in on IFA 2016 at Berlin, Huawei will be one of the many manufacturers to keep an eye on as they flaunt their new stuff at the showcase, and guess what? We have word that the Chinese OEM will be unveiling a new line of smartphones, alongside a new mid range tablet.

The insider info comes from none other than popular leak source Evan Blass (@evleaks on Twitter). Blass has tweeted on his account that Huawei will be launching the Nova, Nova Plus and MediaPad M3 at IFA 2016. While we don’t have much to talk about the Nova and Nova Plus, but the folks at Android Authority have claimed that the Nova series will be catered for the female market, according to sources from China. The Nova is said to sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor with 4GB of RAM, a 16MP/8MP camera pair and a 3,500mAh battery. If the Nova phones are really aimed towards women, chances are that Huawei will pull it off like how the company designed the Huawei Watch Jewel. So basically, a fashion centric and classy looking device.

On the other hand, the Huawei MediaPad M3 will most likely be a standard follow up on the MediaPad M2 8.0 and 10.0, launched in May 2015 and January 2016 respectively. Both variants of the MediaPad M2 feature Kirin 930 SoC’s, so it’s likely that we will be looking at a slight upgrade from that, plus a couple more improvements over the last generation of the tablet.

Nevertheless, we will have to wait just a little longer before the official details come pouring out to the media, and the above mentioned devices won’t be the only ones to be unveiled by Huawei at IFA 2016. Till then, you will have to stay tuned with us as we approach the Berlin event. What do you think?
