Huawei supports creative education with sponsorship of MatePad Pro 13.2

In a groundbreaking move, Huawei has announced its collaboration with the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) under Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and The One Academy, underlining its commitment to integrating advanced technology into creative and arts education. This partnership, featuring Huawei’s sponsorship of its latest HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2”, is set to provide a significant boost to the artistic capabilities of students and lecturers.

As a highlight of this collaboration, students from ASWARA and The One Academy will have the opportunity to participate in the HUAWEI GoPaint Contest. This international contest is a platform for these students to display their artistic skills and bring Malaysian talent to the forefront of the global arts and creativity scene.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2″, which is central to this partnership, is equipped with the latest NearLink Technology and the 3rd Generation HUAWEI M-Pencil, offering an unparalleled 10,000 pressure sensitivity levels. This feature is pivotal for students and lecturers in both institutions, enabling them to leverage these tools for enhanced artistic expression and learning experiences.

Victor Xu, Country Director of Huawei Malaysia Consumer Business Group, expressed his pride in the collaboration, emphasizing Huawei’s dedication to raising education standards through advanced technology. “We aim to nurture a new generation of creative thinkers in Malaysia,” Xu said.

Adding to the enthusiasm, ASWARA Rector, Prof. Ts. Dr. Ruslan Abdul Rahman, highlighted the transformative potential of this partnership, emphasizing its international scope and community empowerment goals. The One Academy Chairman, Mr Tatsun Hoi, also expressed gratitude for Huawei’s support, noting the significant impact of advanced technology in teaching art and design.

This initiative follows Huawei’s previous contribution of the HUAWEI Watch GT4 to Malaysian athletes in the Asian Games and Asian Para Games, reinforcing Huawei’s commitment to enhancing the lives of Malaysians through technology. This time, the focus is on enriching the educational landscape.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2” is available for pre-order until 25 January 2024. The green variant (12GB, 256GB) is priced at RM4,999, while the golden black variant (12GB, 256GB) is offered at RM4,599. Orders can be placed at the Huawei Experience Store or through the HUAWEI Official Website.
