Huawei slashes the Mate 20 Pro to RM2,999

When new smartphones are announced, it is always a good time to look back at last year’s device if you aren’t into the latest tech because you could save up some decent cash, and that price cut has happened on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant will begin to retail for RM2,999 starting March 1st 2019 onwards, that’s a good RM600 off its usual price.

The Mate 20 Pro has enjoyed great success in Malaysia according to Huawei, while we have found its camera performance to be inconsistent in our review, the phone has great battery life and stellar performance all thanks to the Kirin 980 chipset. Other nice things about the Mate 20 Pro includes support for Huawei’s SuperCharge 40W charing, a beautiful 1440p 6.53-inch dewdrop OLED display, and reverse wireless charging.

If you have just bought a Mate 20 Pro today, then bad luck, you have just lost RM600 of your phone’s actual value, Huawei has responded to our enquiry and confirm that customers who purchased the phone today will not receive a cash back.
