Huawei rumoured to have built a tablet for Google; will be available by the end of the year

We know that HTC has created two new phones for Google. Codenamed Sailfish and Marlin, these two phones were stated to be the new Nexus phones before the line was rebranded as part of the Pixel Line. Today, known leaker Evan Blass has released a tweet that suggests that Sailfish and Marlin may not be the only Google-branded devices that will be released this year, as Huawei is rumoured to have develop a tablet for Google.

According to the tweet by Blass, this upcoming tablet by Huawei will be a 7″ device and will come with 4GB of RAM. Apart from that, nothing else is know about the upcoming tablet. Speculation surrounding the tablet seems to suggest that the tablet will sport the “7P” moniker, although whether or not it will use the Nexus branding or the Pixel branding is still unclear.

Google will be hosting an event on the 4th of October whereby the company will announce the two new Pixel phones, a 4K Chromecast, and the Daydream VR headset. Needless to say, if the Huawei tablet is an actual product, that will be the place where Google will reveal it.
