Huawei refreshes the MateBook D with a 8th Gen Intel processor and GeForce MX150 chip

Huawei has just refreshed its MateBook D notebook with a new 8th Gen Core i5 or i7 and runs on Windows 10. They have also announced two more MateBooks, the MateBook X and MateBook E which will both run on Windows 10 as well.

The MateBook D comes with the same metal unibody as the previous versions, 15.6-inch FHD screen and has a Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics chip, an improvement over the previous version’s GeForce 940MX. The notebook will come with three variants, Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM and the MX150 which will be priced at CNY 5,188 (RM3229.32). The second will come with same specs except the storage which will be a 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD which is priced at CNY 5,488 (RM3416.06) and finally the last and most premium variant comes with a Core i7-8550U, 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD and the MX150 which comes with a price tag of CNY 6,688 (RM4163.01).

The notebooks are powered by a 43.3Wh battery which Huawei claims will give you 10 hours of use on a single charge. There is also Dolby’s panoramic speaker system, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, and one USB 2.0 port.
