Huawei is adding yet another tablet to its huge MediaPad lineup. This time, it is the Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10, a mid ranger which will most probably live up to your media consumption needs.
Admittedly, tablet sales are declining as we speak, due to larger screen phones and more portable laptops. The MediaPad M3 Lite 10 here has a good tablet screen size of 10.1-inches, plus it’s an IPS panel. Underneath the hood you’ll find an octa core Snapdragon 435 GPU which should be sufficient if you’re only into watching Netflix, some light gaming and other basic daily tasks. It comes in 3 memory and storage options – 3GB RAM/16GB, 3GB RAM/32GB and 4GB RAM/64GB.
The camera department is probably the last thing you would want to consider in a tablet. Chances are that your phone’s camera fares way better than those on tablets. Nevertheless, the MediaPad M3 Lite 10 sports 8MP cameras on the front and back respectively. The front facing camera would come in handy for video calling, plus a couple of selfies if you happen to be in a pinch.
The MediaPad M3 Lite 10 packs a 6,600mAh battery, and unfortunately, uses a micro USB port. An added bonus however, is that this tablet has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button located on the front panel below the display. Also, the tablet features a total of four speakers for a more immersive media consumption experience.
Huawei’s latest addition will most likely be affordable to the average consumer, given its mid range internals. No news on the pricing and availability of the tablet for now, but Huawei is slated to reveal those in the near future.
