Huawei MateBook X Pro refreshed with 10th-Gen Intel CPUs and improved cooling system

Alongside the Huawei Mate Xs, the Chinese company also introduced the refresh line-up of MateBook laptops – which includes the top-of-the-line MateBook X Pro.

Starting with the cream of the crop, the MateBook X Pro succeeds the original from 2018 and sees improvements made under the hood. You’ve got an Intel Core i7-10510U or a Core i5-10210U alongside an Nvidia GeForce MX250 dedicated GPU.

Every variant gets 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with up to 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD for storage; the base Core i5 variant does not come with the GeForce MX250 however. It’s also equipped with the improved Huawei Shark Fin Fans 2.0 which supposedly dissipates heat more efficiently.

Display-wise – it remains the same with a 13.9-inch LTPS panel that’s capable of pushing 3K resolution along with what Huawei claims to be 100% sRGB colour gamut output.

The MateBook X Pro will be available globally this April and is priced from €1,499 (RM6,867) for the base variant, and €1,999 (RM9,157) for the premium model. No official word on its Malaysian availability yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
