Following the launch of P50 Pocket and Smart Glasses, Huawei has announced the newly refreshed MateBook X Pro which is the company’s flagship laptop. It’s a great stylish laptop that comes packed with many great features, so let’s see what this device is all about.
The MateBook X Pro comes with a 14.2-inch 3.1K LTPS display that pushes a 90Hz refresh rate which can be changed to 60Hz to save battery life. Additionally, it supports a P3 color gamut, touchscreen, and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits that makes for a great viewing experience.
In terms of the hardware, the laptop has up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU, that comes with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe SSD. Furthermore, the laptop is powered by a 60Wh battery that charges via a 65W USB-C Power Adapter, so you can expect a decent battery life with this device.
The Huawei MateBook X Pro also comes with the newly introduced Super Device feature and Huawei Share, which lets you easily connect your laptop to other devices, making it ideal for presentations. It also allows fast transferring speeds with Huawei phones so you can send images and files to your laptop similar to Apple’s AirDrop.
Other features include a backlit keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel, six built-in speakers, four built-in microphones, Bluetooth 5.1, a 720p HD camera, and a fingerprint power button.
The base model of the Huawei MateBook X Pro comes with an Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, and 512GB which is priced at CNY9,499 (roughly RM6,236). You can also opt for the upgraded option too, with an Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for CNY12,499 (roughly RM8,205).
