The teaser image also revealed that the Mate X2 will be folding inwards, unlike the previous models. Richard Yu, CEO of HUAWEI Consumer Business Group, also posted on his Weibo account that he has been using the device for some time and it is filled with surprises.

TENAA certification confirms an 8-inch unfolded display

Despite the lack of official information, the Mate X2 was revealed to come with an 8-inch screen based on TENAA certification. Reports suggest that it’ll have a 6.45-inch AMOLED display when folded and it’ll powered by the Kirin 9000 chip. We’re also expecting a 50MP quad camera on the rear paired with a 16MP lens on the front.

We’ll have to wait for another three weeks before we get the official specs of the HUAWEI Mate X2.
