The Huawei Mate 9 is slated to be unveiled towards the end of 2016, and so far rumors have been flowing in at a decent rate. Recently, we’ve gotten news that the next Huawei flagship will be featuring a dual camera configuration like this year’s earlier launched Huawei P9, and now we have rumors that bring us further into the handset’s optics.
According to Weibo, the Huawei Mate 9 is said to be sporting a whopping 20MP and 12MP pair of rear cameras in the dual cam configuration. The P9 that was launched earlier this year featured a 12MP+12MP dual camera, hence the rumored configuration on the Mate 9 definitely sounds like a fairly decent upgrade from the P9. Coupled with that setup is an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
The other new rumor is Huawei’s fast charging technology. The Huawei Mate 9 is tipped to feature the company’s new Super Charge technology that is said to power up the device by 50% in only a mere 5 minutes. Sounds a little insane but it is something interesting to look forward to. The rest of the device’s specs seem to be pretty much a blur as of now, but the phone is slated to be powered by Kirin 960 chip with 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 4GB RAM/128GB storage and 6GB RAM/256GB storage models available. What do you think about these latest rumors regarding the Huawei Mate 9?
