Huawei Mate 30 Pro touted to come with 90Hz display, a periscope lens, and support for 55W fast charge

Life goes on even you’re in a heated legal kerfuffle with the USA – despite its shortcomings of late, Huawei still plans to impress with their upcoming flagship, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro – and rightly so.

Apparent early specs of the phone shows a few new details – we already know that it will come with a 6.71-inch AMOLED display, but the leak suggest that it pushes 90Hz refresh rates, just like the OnePlus 7 Pro.

It also seems that the design of the phone revolves around curved edges, especially at the back. What’s different now, is that the camera module will supposedly take on a vertically elongated shape that will house three lenses and a flash.

Speaking of cameras, like the Huawei P30 Pro, this upcoming device is said to be able to achieve up to 50x hybrid zoom thanks to a periscope lens.

The Mate 30 Pro will also apparently sport a dual-lens selfie shooter that’s housed in a punch hole module.

Other things we already know about the phone is that it’ll come with Huawei’s Kirin 985 chipset, 4,200mAh battery and will support 55W fast charging. GSM Arena says that we can expect the phone to ship some time this October, but whether or not it’ll come with Android or HongMeng OS is still a mystery.
