Huawei Mate 10 to launch on October 16

Huawei has excelled with its range of smartphones lately, notably the Mate 9 and P10 handsets that now have a place of competition with the current flagships out there. Along with the rest of the flagships that will be unveiled over the next couple of months, there will be the Huawei Mate 10 as well, and we might have just gotten the exact launch date for the upcoming Huawei flagship.

A teaser invite for the launch event has emerged thanks to Tech Prolonged. The teaser comes with the statement “Meet the device worth waiting for”. The background also has a subtle “10” figure which most likely refers to the Huawei Mate 10. The date on the teaser has also been set to be on the 16th of October, at Germany in the city of Munich.

The teaser might seem very real but let’s take it with a huge grain of salt and not let our hopes up high. Nevertheless, the Huawei Mate 9 aced in its battery life so Huawei might be carrying that feature onto the Huawei Mate 10. The Mate 10 is predicted to sport a 6-inch QHD 18:9 aspect ratio display. Underneath the hood will be the Kirin 960 chipset along with up to 6GB of RAM. Cameras will likely be Leica branded like they are on the P10 and Mate 9. Last but not least, we might see a Pro version of the Mate 10 as well.
