Huawei launches 2024 MateBook X Pro and Watch Fit 3 in Malaysia

Huawei Malaysia has made a significant mark on the tech landscape by unveiling two flagship products, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 and the HUAWEI MateBook X Pro (2024).

HUAWEI MateBook X Pro (2024): Setting New Standards for Ultralight Laptops

The 2024 Huawei MateBook X Pro is the spotlight of the launch, it is the lightest and slimmest laptop to be powered by 14th Gen Intel Core H-series processors at just 980g, it achieves this by using Huawei’s Cloud Falcon architecture and a three segment PCB design, which allows the efficient placement of parts within the slim 13.5mm chassis.

The laptop is also the first Windows laptop to use a 13.4-inch Flexible OLED display with a 3K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, it covers 100% AdobeRGB color space and has been calibrated to achieve a color accuracy of Delta E<1, while boasting a peak brightness of 1000 nits, making this a great portable workhorse for creatives.

Available in Core Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 models, the MateBook X Pro is configured with 16GB RAM+1TB storage and 32GB RAM+2TB storage respectively, they can be purchased for RM8,999 and RM10,999 respectively, Huawei is offering free gifts worth RM4,582 with purchase of either model, which includes a Huawei MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte Edition and other goodies.

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3: A Fusion of Style and Functionality

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 3 stands out with its fashionable square design and comes in six different colors, catering to a youthful demographic looking for a stylish yet functional smartwatch.

Priced at RM599, the watch is equipped with advanced health features such as Huawei’s latest TruSeen™ 5.5 heart rate monitoring and TruSleep™ 4.0 sleep tracking technology. It also ensures seamless connectivity, keeping users connected and in control at all times. With its launch, Huawei has initiated a pre-order phase until May 17, 2024, during which customers can receive a complimentary gift valued at RM89 and an early bird voucher of RM30.

More from Huawei: Apps and Wearables

The launch also spotlighted Huawei’s new in-house developed painting app, GoPaint, designed to enhance creative outputs with over 100 virtual brushes and realistic textures, aimed at both amateur and professional artists. Additionally, Huawei revealed the HUAWEI WATCH GT4 41mm, a stylish addition to its smartwatch range, and the HUAWEI FreeClip in a new Beige edition, expanding its fashion-forward wearable offerings.
