Huawei has confirmed the triple-camera P20 will launch on 27 March in France

Huawei P20 concept render

Huawei has just confirmed that they will be launching their new flagship P-series phones on March 27 in France’s Grand Palais museum and exhibition hall. The company did not send out invitations for the event but we should expect them to launch the upcoming P20 the successor to the P10.

It has already been confirmed that the P20 will be the first smartphone in the world to come with a triple camera setup on the back with a total resolution of 40MP and 5x hybrid zoom. The front will come with an equally impressive 24MP selfie camera, all the cameras will be developed by Leica. Samsung is also putting all their money on their new and improved camera for the S9 so it will be interesting to see who wins the smartphone camera war.

The P20 is said to be smaller than the Mate 10 Pro but it will come with a 6-inch OLED screen, presumably with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen, Kirin 970 and Android 8.1 out of the box. We will report back with all the details when they launch the phone on March 27.
