Huawei is building a processor that will combine a CPU, GPU and AI in a single chip

The phone that we are all looking forward to the most from Huawei is the Mate 10, however, reports have surfaced that Huawei will be demoing their AI system that they have been working on for awhile now and they plan to show it off during IFA Berlin on September 2nd.

The company could also be demoing their so-called Superphone which they described as a double o you and will proactively interact with the physical world. How they are achieving this superphone is by developing a new processor that will combine CPU, GPU, and AI functions in one chip to further extend the capabilities that the EMUI Android skin already provides in the AI department. More information will be shared during their IFA conference next month.

There is still no news on whether the Mate 10 will be shown off during the event but it might be announced at a separate event on October 10 and not during the IFA event. Regardless, it will be quite interesting to know how the company is moving forward with computer intelligence.
