HTC could launch the U11 Plus on November 2

HTC hasn’t given up on its smartphones yet, as it has sent out media invites to witness the launch of its new smartphone on November 2 at Taipei, the company has held its U11 press conference back then, and this time we should probably expect the long rumored U11 Plus with a 5.99″ 2880×1440 display, the first 18:9 display on an HTC smartphone.

The media invitation didn’t give away hints of the device, but we expect the U11 Plus to come with pretty much everything that the U11 already has, such as the Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, the highly rated 12-megapixel main camera, and probably IP67 water resistance. The U11 was a great phone, however it doesn’t sport an attractive design like a modern 2017 device, and the 3000mAh battery doesn’t quite cut it to be a proper 2017 smartphone from HTC.

However, let’s hope that the HTC U11 Plus will turn up to be a worth upgrade from the U11, and we shall find out in a couple of weeks.
