HTC 10 offered in Japan with an additional color option, not Rose Gold

Many smartphone manufacturers have been succumbing to the peer pressure by the almight Apple, first with smartphones coming in gold colored options, and recently the infamous Rose Gold. Mostly imitated by Chinese OEM’s, that’s how the world works and most companies prefer to swim with the rising tide rather than going against it. For HTC, the company has been avoiding the golden trend, offering their smartphones in an attractive bold red color instead and it looks like the same wave applies to the new HTC 10.

Even the flagship handsets before the HTC 10 had their bodies painted red, namely the One M8 and One M7, mostly exclusive to the States though. But you have to admit that a bold red colored smartphone feels refreshing after coming across the slew of gold, Rose Gold (or Pink) colored devices out there. The downside to this red HTC 10 is this model will only be available to our friends residing in Japan, according to Taiwanese site ePrice.

Nevertheless, it’s still good to know that HTC mostly sides with the color red over gold. What do you think about this beauty in red? Anyone of you rocking a red phone? Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
