HP Malaysia launches all-new ENVY 16 and Spectre x360 laptops

HP Malaysia has unveiled the ENVY 16 and Spectre x360 laptop in Malaysia, these are creator focused laptops powered by 12th Gen Intel processors while the ENVY 16 is probably the first laptop in Malaysia to come with Intel’s Arc graphics, these are certainly the most exciting laptops that HP have brought to the market this year.

HP ENVY 16

The ENVY 16 is a 16-inch laptop that comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio display that sports a resolution of 2560×1600 and refreshes at 120Hz, the display features 400 nits of brightness and covers 100% sRGB color gamut with a Delta value of E<2, which makes this one of the most color accurate displays in its class.

Performance wise, the ENVY 16 is powered by either a Core i5-12500H or Core i7-12700H, while depending on the configuration, the laptop’s graphics power is either juiced by a RTX 3060 Laptop GPU with 6GB VRAM or an Intel Arc A370M graphics with 4GB of VRAM, it can be configured with up to 32GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM with two SODIMM memory slots, and two PCIe NVME SSD with RAID 0 configuration.

In other features, the HP ENVY 16 features a HP TrueVision 5MP IR camera with a privacy shutter, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, HDMI 2.1, MicroSD card reader, and quad speakers by Bang and Olufsen.

The HP ENVY 16 will start at RM6,999 and can be purchase at HP.com or authorized resellers nationwide.

HP Spectre x360

As for the Spectre x360, this is a beautiful 2-in-1 laptop that weighs from 1.37kg and comes with up to a 13.5-inch 3K2K touch OLED display, HP also offers the laptop with an IPS panel that comes with a lower 1920×1280 resolution and HP Sure View Reflect technology, a feature that can limit viewing angles to prevent someone from looking at your screen from the side.

Performance wise, the Spectre x360 is an Intel Evo certified laptop and is powered by a power efficient Core i7-1255U or Core i5-1235U processor, it can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR4x-4266MHz memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD, ports selection include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and a MicroSD card reader, it also has the same 5MP webcam that’s present on the ENVY 16.

The HP Spectre x360 will retail from RM7,199 and can be purchased at HP.com or authorized resellers nationwide.
