We’re in the advent of 5G-ready devices already – we’ve seen the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S10+, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and more be upgraded to support the future of network connectivity.

Naturally, you’d expect more brands to be hot on the tails of those already in the game – one of these brands is HONOR. The company’s president Zhao Ming confirmed that the new HONOR V30 will be launched in China soon and will come with 5G support out of the box.

When the phone hits Malaysian markets of course, it will be called the HONOR View30. But GSM Arena notes that it is unsure if the models outside of China will continue to offer 5G support, but given it’s slated late-2019 release date, we reckon it will.

Also considering the recent introduction of the Kirin 990 chipset that’s equipped with the Balong 5000 modem, GSM Arena notes that we will likely see it mark its appearance in the HONOR V30.
