Honor V10 leaks before launch in China

Hats off to Huawei for impressing the world throughout 2017. There was even an instance when the company overtook Apple to be the second largest smartphone manufacturer worldwide. The Chinese company unveiled the Honor 7X under the Honor subsidiary earlier this week, and the company is not done just yet, with another impending launch next week.

Honor has a launch event coming up on November 28 for the Honor V10. It will succeed the Honor V9, which is also known as the Honor 8 Pro outside of China. Hence it is likely that the Honor V10 will be called the Honor 9 Pro globally. Just 5 days before its launch, the phone has been leaked in its full glory, showcasing an attractive chassis with a bezel-less display on the front.

The Honor V9 was an impressive phone, sporting a QHD display, Huawei’s then flagship Kirin 960 chipset with 6GB of RAM, all for an affordable price tag. The Honor V10 is expected to feature a QHD+ resolution display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The top performing Kirin 970 is rumored to be powering the handset. It will also pack a dual camera setup of 20MP + 16MP.

It is hard to tell from the image whether the Honor V10 will have a glass or metal body. It will likely be of the latter to keep costs low, which also translates to the absence of wireless charging. Keep an eye out next week!
