Honor might be revealing the Honor View 20 with the Kirin 980 processor

It seems like Honor is not quite done with this year, because after the launch of Honor 8X and Honor Magic 2, there is a new Honor smartphone that has received China’s 3C and CMIIT certificate, which many believe to be the successor to the Honor View 10, the Honor View 20.

As the Honor View 10 was released around the same time last year, it is highly likely that the new smartphone from Honor might be the Honor View 20, and it is expected to feature an IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. Other assumptions include the smartphone being powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor and a 6/8GB RAM.

Aside from that, because Honor has been introducing triple-camera setup on its recent smartphones, it is believed that Honor View 20 might have the same camera setup with two 16MP lens and one 24MP lens, whereas the front will be a single lens camera. Reports also suggest that the Honor View 20 will come with a 3500mAh battery that supports fast charging.

The expected release date of Honor View 20 could be as early as this month itself, so we’ll be updated when there’s more information of the new smartphone from Honor.
