Honor Malaysia launches MagicBook X 16 and Honor Pad X8

The excitement of new tech launches in Malaysia continues, as Honor Malaysia has introduced the MagicBook X 16 laptop and Honor Pad X8 tablet today.

The MagicBook X 16 is a 12th Gen Intel Core powered 16-inch laptop, sporting a 16:10 aspect ratio display with a 1920×1200 resolution, it offers more vertical working space and has a compact footprint all thanks to its slim bezels, the laptop employs a Core i5-1235U processor for its power and is paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

In terms of battery life, Honor claims up to 10.5 hours of battery life of productivity and up to 12 hours of video playback with its 60Wh battery, which is one of the largest battery capacity fitted compared to other similar class laptops, the laptop  also comes with an advanced cooling system that features one jumbo fan and dual heat pipes to quickly dissipate heat when performing CPU intensive tasks.

The Honor MagicBook X 16  will be available starting 18th November 2022 onwards at a retail price of RM3,499, customers will receive free gifts worth RM777 including a Honor Backpack, a wireless mouse and pre-installed Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021.

The Honor Pad X8 on the other hand is a mid-range value 4G-enabled entertainment tablet, as it sports a 10.1-inch Full HD display that pushes a resolution of 1920×1200 at 60Hz, and two high-amplitude speakers placed symmetrically on both sides of the tablet. Most impressively, these speakers are claimed to be able to produce a 9.1-channel surround sound when watching movies.

Weighing at 460g, the Honor Pad X8 is powered by a Mediatek MT8768 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, it has a 5MP rear and 2MP front facing camera, a 5000mAh battery and ships with Magic UI 6.1 running on top Android 12.

The Honor Pad X8 can be purchased on 12th November 2022 onwards at a retail price of RM899, customers will receive a Honor Pad X8 Flip Case worth RM99 upon purchase.
