HONOR MagicBook 14/15 with Ryzen 5 3500U set for global release – priced below RM3,000

HONOR has had a busy week with the introduction of their HONOR 9X Pro smartphone – but they’re not stopping there yet. They’ve gone and made the MagicBook laptop line-ups available globally too and have refreshed them with new processors.

Two variants are available – the MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15. The former measures at, well, 14-inches and comes packed with a TUV Rheinland-certified display, boasting and 84% screen ratio. The latter is bigger at 15.6-inches.

The two variants’ bodies are made of aluminium and weighs only 1.38kgs. In terms of I/O ports, you’ve got one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0, one HDMI, one USB Type C and one 3.5mm headphone jack. No card readers unfortunately.

Under the hood, both models come equipped with an AMD Ryzen 3500U processor with integrated Radeon Vega 8 graphics. On the MateBook 14, you get a 56Wh battery that gets you up to 10 hours of battery life in a full charge. Both models also get 8GB RAM DDR4 RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD storage

Both models are available in Space Grey and Mystic Silver – and will be on shelves by the end of March. The MagicBook 14 is priced from €599 (RM2,746).
