Honor Magic4 Pro challenges the status quo for RM3999

Honor has officially launched the Magic4 Pro flagship smartphone in Malaysia today, which has been a long anticipated event for the company since it became independent from Huawei, it is a feature packed flagship device that comes officially preinstalled with Google Mobile Services, complete with a respectable camera system and super fast 100W wired and wireless charging.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the Magic4 Pro comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of non expandable memory, it features a 6.81-inch LTPO AMOLED display that refreshes at an adaptive 120Hz and it is the first smartphone display to feature a 1920Hz PWM Dimming technology, which has a much reduced flicker than other smartphone displays that’s more easy on the eyes when used in dim brightness.

The Magic4 Pro features a very impressive camera system that houses five sensors on a huge circular bump on its back, which comprise of a 50MP wide, 50MP ultrawide, 64MP optically stabilized sensor that offers 3.5X optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, a flicker sensor and 3D ToF sensor that assists the camera in focusing objects.

Videography is one of the key selling points of the phone’s camera, it is capable of shooting up to 4K 10-bit HDR videos up to 60fps with LOG color profile and has a selection of IMAX Enhanced LUTs for a cinematic shot, these features are baked into the camera’s Movie and Pro mode which creators will have the freedom to adjust how they want their videos to look like.

Other features include an AI Privacy call feature that prevents sound leaks when listening to phone calls, IP68 water and dust resistance and a dual TEE Security OS Independent Security Chip that prevents unwanted hacks to the phone’s data.

The Honor Magic4 Pro costs RM3,999 in Malaysia and will be available in color options of Cyan, Gold and Black. Early bird customers can preorder the device from authorized Honor dealers and telcos and be eligible to redeem free gifts worth up to RM1656, which includes a Honor Watch GS3, Honor Magic4 Pro Phone Case, 6 Months Screen Crack Protection and 1 Year Extended Warranty.

On top of that, Honor has also introduced the Honor Watch GS3 and Honor Earbuds 3 Pro today, which are perfect companions to go with the Magic4 Pro, the Watch GS3 retails at RM899 for the Midnight Black color and RM999 for the Ocean Blue and Classic Gold color, the Earbuds 3 Pro retails at RM699.
