Poster confirms the HONOR 9X Lite to come with a 48MP dual camera setup

The lite version of the HONOR 9X is reported to be launching soon and most importantly, it’ll still be integrated with Google Mobile Services (GMS).

The new promotional poster that is all over the Internet has already revealed several pieces of information regarding the HONOR 9X Lite — the biggest difference being its lack of a third lens in its camera setup. Our guess is that HONOR is removing the ultrawide lens in this case, leaving the phone with a 48MP sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor.

The poster also shows the upcoming phone with a fingerprint sensor on its back — an unsurprising feature since the original version also has one. Though there’s no knowing how many colors this phone will come in, the poster confirms that there will at least be a turquoise-like option.

Now, HUAWEI has been banned from using GMS on its newer devices, so shouldn’t it be the same for HONOR? That’s apparently not the case since the HONOR 9X also came with GMS when it was launched in Malaysia. This can be a major deciding factor for many of us who have been very dependent on apps like Gmail, Google Play Store, Google Drive and more.

Right now, the only way to find out more about the HONOR 9X Lite is to patiently wait for the company to release more information or to scout for new leaks every now and then.
