HMD has promised that a new Nokia-branded smartphone will be coming next year. In the meantime, why not remember the good old days of Nokia phones as HMD reveals the Nokia 150.
The Nokia 150 is very much a throwback to the days where colour screen phones became the norm. Running on the Nokia Series 30+ platform, the Nokia 150 has a 2.4″ screen, a VGA camera with LED flash, and a battery that can last up to 31 days on standby. Other features of the Nokia 150 includes a built-in FM Radio, a LED torchlight and an MP3 player. Charging will be done via a standard micro-USB charger.
Two models of the Nokia 150 will be available: the standard Nokia 150, and the Nokia 150 Dual SIM. The phones will have a starting price of USD26 (RM116) and it will be distributed to the APAC region, the IMEA region and Europe in the first quarter of 2017. We don’t know if the Nokia 150 will be available locally, but even if it doesn’t, importing the phone for nostalgia’s sake shouldn’t be too expensive.
