Recent leaks have already revealed how the iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max will look like, including their camera module that is rather outstanding — not in a good way. But the newer leaks have unveiled the appearance of the successor to the iPhone XR, and frankly it’s better than the iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max’s renders.
The iPhone XR 2019 design looks very similar to its predecessor, except for one obvious change — its camera design. Like the iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max, there’s a large square bump on the back of the iPhone XR 2019’s glass panel; the only difference is the the presence of two cameras instead of three.
That’s about all the changes we can spot in the new leaks of the iPhone XR 2019, as it still retains its obvious bezels and wide-notch design. The phone is expected to measure at the same 6.1 inches as the current iPhone XR, and will probably come with an LCD panel. It is worth noting that the LCD panel on the iPhone XR is pretty great, so it’s okay even if it doesn’t get an OLED panel seeing as it’s the cheaper alternative after all.
As for the insides, the new iPhone XR is expected to be powered by a A13 bionic chip, in addition to the phone getting an extra rear camera that could be an ultra-wide angle lens or a 2x telephoto lens.
