Here’s what to expect from Samsung’s foldable smartphone

Samsung has been getting a lot of attention recently, especially since they will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy S10 series and maybe the foldable smartphone that people are now calling Samsung Fold.

The hype of foldable smartphones might have died down a bit, but it is still exciting to see what Samsung can bring to their consumers, especially since the FlexPai by Royole was not an impressive foldable smartphone, due to its inability to be fully folded.

The Samsung Fold will be expected to come with a huge screen, that’s a given, and rumours also suggest that the phone will be powered by Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 855 chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The device is also expected to hold two batteries, with both batteries adding up to at least 5000mAh in total.

Newest information suggests that the Samsung Fold will have a triple rear camera setup, just like the Galaxy A7. This means that the device might have 24MP+5MP+8MP cameras, though it is still not a guaranteed piece of information.

While we’re still clueless about the price of the Samsung Fold, one can definitely expect it to be very expensive, especially since it comes with the specs of a flagship smartphone and is also one of the first few foldable smartphones.
