Here’s how you can experience the Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pocket yourself

Huawei Malaysia is offering an opportunity for fans to experience the Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pocket at selected HUAWEI Experience Stores ahead of its local release.

You can choose between two preview activities — Exclusive VIP Preview or Walk-in Experience.

Huawei P50 Pro

As a recap, the Huawei P50 Pro is a 6.6-inch phone with an AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 888 4G chip and an Adreno 660 GPU. It’s equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

As you can tell from the image, it has a dual-camera bump which houses a quad-camera setup — a 50MP and 40MP True-Chroma Camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera. For the selfies, you get a 13MP punch-hole camera,

Other than that, it’s packs a 4,360mAh battery which supports up to 66W wired fast charging and up to 50W wireless charging.

Huawei P50 Pocket

The Huawei P50 Pocket is a foldable that adopts the clamshell design and it unfolds to show a 6.9-inch OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a secondary 1.04-inch display located below the camera.

The ring on the back panel houses a 40MP True Chroma Camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP Ultra Spectrum Camera. For the selfies, you get a 10.7MP front camera.

Under the hood you have the same Snapdragon 888 4G SoC along with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage for the normal edition or 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage for the Premium Edition.

Moreover, it features a 4,000mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging.

Registration for preview

Due to COVID-19, there will only be 15-20 people for the Exclusive VIP Preview per session and once your appointment has been confirmed, the company will present you with a door gift and a gift box when you arrive.

As for the Walk-in Experience, only the P50 Pro will be available for this session and the first 40 customers to visit Huawei’s stores will receive a Wireless Charging Table Lamp for free.
