Gresso Azimuth A1: A luxury dual-SIM phone

Our title didn’t mention the word “smartphone”. Yes, finally there’s a luxury dual SIM phone (a.k.a “dumbphone”) for the rich to spend their money on – introducing the Gresso Azimuth A1.

The Gresso Azimuth A1 runs on a super duper outdated specs sheet, which we think even the Nokia Asha series beats it every way. And one thing that surprised us, it runs on Nokia’s S40 platform according to the specs sheet. The Azimuth A1 has a 1.3MP main camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and only supports GSM 900/1800 networks on both SIM cards. Talktime is awesome at 20 hours with a Nokia BL-4U 1110mAh battery. Probably the most expensive part of this dumb phone is its titanium grade 5 chassis, tempered mineral front panel and steel keypad.

Seriously, the Azimuth A1 looks like a rip off from Sony Ericsson’s K810i and we seriously can’t imagine using such specifications in today’s world, buying a 24k gold plated iPhone 5s is even more worthwhile. Of course, this will suit those rich guys who have cash and using a RM99 monochrome smartphone.

The Gresso Azimuth A1 will be limited to 999 units and sells at $2000 with free worldwide shipping. Even if you have unlimited cash on hand, we suggest that you skip this. Period.
