Google’s introduces Pixel Slate, their first official Chrome OS tablet

Tomorrow will be the day we officially see the new Pixel devices from Google. It might not be a surprise anymore seeing as most of the devices that were to be unveiled tomorrow has already been seen out in the wild. But it looks like there will be one more product that will make an appearance tomorrow.

Google will also introduce the Google Pixel Slate tablet that will run on Chrome OS. Other than that, it will also feature a detachable keyboard accessor and an active stylus. This will be Google’s first and official Chrome OS tablet and it will come with a new User Interface design. The device will come with a 3:2 aspect ratio display and it might support a SIM card seeing as there looks to be antenna bands on the back of the device. The power button is located at the top and on one side, there is a USB Type-C port which is probably used for data transfers and charging the device. The keyboard attachment comes with circular keys and there looks to be a dedicated key to launch Google Assistant.

Not much is known about the internals, but we are expected to know more when the tablet is launch along side the new Pixel phones, Chromecast and the PixelStand.
