The Google Pixel is probably the greatest smartphone that Google has ever made. Manufactured in partnership with HTC, Google launched the Pixel series, nailing the coffin on the half a decade old Nexus branding of devices. It was indeed a well designed all rounder with an excellent camera, plus top of the line specs. But no phone is perfect, hence Google is seeking for your feedback on the Pixel.
On the Pixel User Community forums, Pixel’s Product Lead Krishna Kumar wrote a post, requesting for thoughts on the current Pixel lineup:
“I would like to hear your thoughts. What do you like about the design? What do you hate about it? What did we get right? What would you like to see us improve?”
This is definitely a rare moment, considering the fact that large manufacturers usually wouldn’t ask for feedback from their own communities about their products. Kumar’s post is an effort to build a healthy relationship between manufacturer and consumers, plus getting opinions on how the Pixel community would like the next Pixel flagship to turn out.
Requests for water and dust resistance happen to be the most so far, considering the fact that most major manufacturers have also begun adopting such protection for their own devices. A Pixel 2 with water resistance has definitely been in the rumor mill for some time now. What do you think can be improved upon the current Pixel smartphone?
