Google might be releasing a Google Assistant-powered headphones

Ever wanted to say Ok Google in the middle of the LRT during rush hour? Or even ask hows the weather like to no one while you walk on a busy street? Well, soon you will be able to because there are hints hidden the latest Google App APK that points to a Google Assistant-powered headphones, codename Bisto.

9to5Google has been hard at work digging and poking at the updated APK and found that Google is preparing to launch these magic pairing headphones which were heard of back in April. Based on some lines of code, the headphones will come with two buttons, one to interact with the assistant and another for reading your notifications back to you. Further analysis of the codes also shows that the headphones will also receive OTA software updates which are assumed linked to Android Wear.

It won’t be a surprise if these headphones are real as rumours are claiming that Google is also releasing a new Chromebook Pixel to succeed the 2015 Chromebook Pixel which was left in the dark and a cheaper and smaller Google Home during the launch of the new Pixel phones this year
