Google has plans to launch a mid-range Pixel phone

It would seem that Google is making plans to release a mid-range Pixel device according to sources that leaked the company’s future plans. The device is looking at a summer launch and they are specifically targeting markets like India.

Based on leaks from within Google, the company has plans to release the mid-range Pixel device in either July or August in India and other markets where lower cost devices are in demand. However, they did not mention which countries will be getting the phone. This strategy is to get Pixel devices into the hands of more consumers. Other than that, they are also planning to launch other products in these markets like the Google Home speakers, the new Pixelbook and various automation products.

Mid-range devices seem to sell pretty well in Malaysia, with companies on their toes when pricing their device and some even offering massive discounts on their product just a few months after launch, there could be a high chance we might see the mid-range Pixel phone here in Malaysia.
