Google Assistant might show up on iOS and home appliances

Google Assistant has only been available to Android phones and Google Home, but Bloomberg tipsters claim that during Google’s I/O developer conference, they will launch Assistant on iOS as a free app, it would not have a deep integration as on Android phones but you would still be able to access content on YouTube and other Google apps.

Google Photos will use Assistant to help you create coffee table books from your image library similar to the iPhoto books that Apple has been offering for years, but the voice assistant will automatically include relevant images and you would not need to hand-pick snapshots of you do not want too. Assistant might reach GE’s home appliances, allowing you to heat up your oven or check on laundry just by using your voice. How it will integrate with your appliances is still unsure but expect to see this integration in new or recent equipment.

The Assistant app will be available in the US first but expect a gradual roll out as seen in other features that companies release.
