Google Assistant is finally introduced on the iPad

New reports have suggested that Google Assistant has now found a new home as it’s being welcomed on the iPad. It’s been known that the app has been powering Google Home and Google Home Mini speakers, as well as being launched as an iPhone app last year. Hence, the expansion of the iPad now being its new home is a nice touch from the company.

And it’s worth noting that while the version of Google Assistant on iOS was only available in English, the new version this time around will cover a wide array of other languages. It will be available in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish. The iPad version will also support iOS 11’s multitasking mode, so running apps side by side would be a breeze.

The only downfall to it is that the Assistant won’t be as accessible as the Siri, since the latter can be activated by just pressing a button or saying, “Hey Siri”. But either way, it’s worth checking out for those who prefer the Assistant over the Siri. Do check the app out from the App Store and let us know your opinion on it.
