Galaxy S9 spotted in new hands on image

The Galaxy S9 flagship by Samsung is slated to make an appearance at CES 2018 which is a little over a month from now. As all the talk will be about display and screen to body ratio, Samsung is expected to take things a step further with the Galaxy S9. Just when you think the Galaxy S8 features minimal bezels, its successor trims the bezels even more, as shown in the alleged hands on image above.

The image shown is by popular tipster Benjamin Geskin, who is known for his accurate renders and images of smartphones before their actual launches. We can likely count on him on this one as well, as it is rather difficult to discredit the image right away. While the overall design of the Galaxy S9 resembles that of its predecessor the Galaxy S8, the bezels have been significantly trimmed to provide more screen real estate on the front. The chin of the Galaxy S9 is noticeably smaller, making it hardly existent, while the top bezel has also been sliced till it is just enough to fit the selfie camera, other sensors and the ear piece above the display.

This Galaxy S9 definitely supports claims that it won’t be as revolutionary in terms of design, but rather a more refined version of the Galaxy S8. The former device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor, along with an iris scanner on the front like on the current Galaxy Note 8.
