Since the release of the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge, both handsets have been taking the consumer market by storm. Of course, this isn’t much of a surprise, coupled with the fact that the S7 revived some of the S5’s features that were missing on last year’s S6. With Samsung’s sales already on a high, it seems that the company plans to release the Galaxy Note 6 earlier than the usual annual window.
The strategy is said to further boost Samsung’s sales before Apple releases its next iPhone, the iPhone 7. It looks like Samsung plans to grab every opportunity, and possibly convert some Apple fanboys or save Samsung loyalists from the grasp of the Cupertino company with the upcoming iPhone. Neil Mawston from Strategy Analytics claims that the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be the world’s best selling Android smartphone this year, hence the expectation of such strategy by Samsung.
The Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to feature a QHD display at 5.8 inches, 6GB of RAM underneath the hood with possibly a newer Exynos processor, plus 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Do take these rumors with a huge grain of salt since there are months to go before the release of the Galaxy Note 6, even if it’s an early one.
