Samsung Galaxy Fold 2: Renders reveal bigger punch-hole display

The Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Watch Active3, but recent reports have revealed that this foldable device will be featuring a punch-hole display.

Bigger punch-hole display

The Galaxy Fold 2 will not only sport a punch-hole design, but it’s also bigger at 7.7-inch. In comparison, the Galaxy Fold has a 7.3-inch screen with a corner notch. Even when it’s folded, the Galaxy Fold 2 is said to be bigger than its predecessor. The first model came with a 4.6-inch display when folded whereas the successor will be getting a 6.23-inch screen in its folded state.

Other reports have also suggested that the phone will support a 120Hz refresh rate when it’s unfolded, whereas its folded state will only support a 60Hz refresh rate.

Internals and cameras

There’s a high chance that the Galaxy Fold 2 will be equipped with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G that will be launched during the August event, the Galaxy Fold 2 will also be equipped with a Snapdragon 865 chipset that supports 5G connectivity. It will be paired with a 4,365mAh battery and come with a 64MP triple camera setup on the rear.
