Fujifilm goes retro with the X-A3 mirrorless camera

Fujifilm’s is keeping the retro feel alive as the company’s latest mirrorless camera, the X-A3, sports a design that is a throwback to days of old.

As the name implies, the X-A3 is the successor to the X-A2. This camera sports a retro design that comes in three colour variations, allowing you to choose the right colour that matches your style. 

Despite its looks, the X-A3 is a camera that is targeted towards the selfie lovers. Sporting a newly-developed 24MP sensor, the X-A3 comes with Fujifilm’s proprietary colour reproduction technology for advanced portraiture. The camera also comes with a 3″ LCD touchscreen that is capable of tilting 180 degrees. Selfies can be taken using the command dial on the back of the camera, giving the selfier taker a firmer grip on the camera.

To assist with the selfie taking, the X-A3 comes with a new self-timer function, Smile Detection, Buddy Timer and Group Timer, causing the camera to be triggered automatically when the subject smiles or when two or more people come into the frame. The X-A3 comes with built-in Wi-Fi capabilitiy to connect the Instax SHARE printer for instant printing. The Wi-Fi capability also allows you to transfer photos to your mobile device or enable remote-shooting. 

The FujiFilm X-A3 will be available in silver, brown or pink colours and will retail for RM2,888. The camera comes bundled with a CX16-50mm lens.
